Auditions at Aurora Players
"Butterflies are Free" and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow"
Director David Hall will be holding auditions for Aurora Players’ May/June 2020 production of Leonard Gershe’s Butterflies Are Free.
Auditions Dates: March 16 & 17 at 7pm at the Roycroft Pavilion; If needed, callbacks will be held March 18.
Performance Dates: May 29 – 31, June 5 – 7 & 12 – 14
Young Don Baker, hero of his mother's children's book series, "Donny Dark" has been blind since birth, his overprotective mother following his every move. Don finally decides to take his own apartment in Manhattan and pursue his songwriting ambitions. When she meets his kooky neighbor, sexy actress Jill, Mrs. Baker's controlling instincts go into overdrive with hilariously touching results.

Directors Rick Lattimer and Mary Loliger will be holding auditions Aurora Players’ 2020 Theatre in Hamlin Park production of by John Heimbuch and Jon Ferguson's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

In the quaint village of Sleepy Hollow, stories of wonder and strangeness surround the legend of a mighty headless Hessian. When the humble schoolteacher Ichabod Crane vies for the hand of the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel, the townsfolk might protest but it is ultimately the Horseman who will decide his fate.
