Corona Virus Takes Terrence McNally

The corona pandemic just became personal.

Terrence McNally was a titan of the American Theater. With plays like The Ritz; Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune; Lips Together Teeth Apart; Love! Valour! Compassion!; Corpus Christi; and Some Men, not to mention musicals like The Rink, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Ragtime, The Full Monty, The Visit, A Man of No Importance, and Anastasia, he broke barriers in the theater and was an inspiration to subsequent generations of playwrights and LGBTQ people.

My own heart is shattered.

Deepest condolences to Terrence's husband, Tom.
