In a hectic week, with numerous openings and a day job that prevents fast turnaround, I still want to weigh in by stating that Dan Urtz is currently giving two of the best performances of this theater season in Robert Askins wickedly funny play, Hand to God. He is assisted in this unholy task by the devilish artistry of puppet designer Adam Kreutinger. I will, over the next few hours and days, elaborate on the merits of this superb Road Less Traveled production, directed by John Hurley, and will also comment on Kiss of the Spider Woman at New Phoenix, Onion Game at Irish Classical, Indecent at the Kavinoky, Othello at Buffalo State, and Eclipsed at Subversive. Such an embarrassment of riches!
