Second Generation goes ahead with a virtual version of their popular fundraiser

Note the all-star lineup. During a pandemic, you can get just about anybody!

The show can't go on, but the fundraising must!

Second Generation Theatre has elected to damn the corona virus and go full speed ahead with a virtual version of their fun evening of musical mayhem, "Page to Stage: Miscast," in which some of Buffalo's most talented performers tackle material that is entirely inappropriate for them.

The fun takes place online on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 7 p.m. CLICK HERE to buy your ticket, only $10 per household. Open bar and refrigerator all evening -- courtesy of yourself! The website also offers the opportunity to register to bid on auction items, or simply to unleash your credit card and give money generously, merely for the love the Second Generation Theatre, without buying a ticket.

To be honest, last year, material that should have been inappropriate proved to be all too apt for several people, as the cast explored a gender-bending world of societal taboos through Broadway music. (I mean, who among them couldn't sell Cy Coleman and Ira Gasman's "The Oldest Profession" from The Life, or Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock's "Gorgeous" from The Apple Tree?)

Below, see the program from the previous (live and in person) incarnation. Note, they did not indicate who would perform what number, to add the element of outrageous surprise.
