At 5:30 p.m. in the Plaza of Starts in front of 710 Main Theatre in the Theater District

Here's a reminder that Roslyn Ruff's induction into Buffalo's Plaza of Stars will take place TODAY, Monday, September 18, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in front of 710 Main. Previous honoree, Stephen McKinley Henderson will host the event, which marks the start of the 40th Annual Curtain Up! festivities of the Theatre District Association.
Born and raised here in Buffalo, Roslyn got her start as a high school student, participating in the Saturday acting workshop at the Paul Robeson Theatre. She also appeared with Ujima Theatre Company. She would graduate from Medaille, before going to the MFA program at A.R.T. on the Harvard campus.

Appearing in numerous television shows including "Law and Order"
Originating a role in the Pulitzer Prize winning play, "Fairview"
Recurring character Kimberly Crawford on the CBS show, "Blue Bloods"
Appearing in the film, "The Help" with Viola Davis
Appearing as Lady Capulet in "Romeo and Juliet" on Broadway with Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad
Starring in August Wilson's "Seven Guitars" and "The Piano Lesson" at the Signature Theatre in New York
Early in her career, Rosslyn appeared with The Acting Company in "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter," "Pudd'nhead Wilson," and "The Taming Of The Shrew."
The induction will be followed by a reception. Remember, the ceremony starts at 5:30 p.m., but allow time for parking.
