The Last Five Years and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change
Kenan Center, in Lockport, NY, will be holding an open call (by appointment) for performers (18+) on Monday, April 22 from 6 PM – 9 PM at the Taylor Theatre on Kenan’s campus at 433 Locust St, Lockport, NY 14094.
Kenan is casting for its 2024/2025 season – The Last Five Years and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, as well as assorted musical theater revue, cabaret, and event performance opportunities. The roles of Jamie and Cathy in The Last Five Years have been cast, but understudies are needed.
Performers should prepare a 32-bar cut in the style of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. An accompanist will be provided.
All roles in shows will be paid $400/wk. Evening rehearsals, four shows per week (Th-Sun).
The Last Five Years’ contract dates are September 3-October 6, 2024. I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change’s contract dates are January 6 – February 16, 2025. Cabaret, musical revue, and event performance singers will be paid rates no less than $50/hr, but are subject to negotiation by performer.
